This past Sunday, Karl Rove was invited to speak at the University of Iowa for a cool $40,000. Unfortunately for Rove, who was recently named “worst person ever” by Keith Olbermann, was met with a fair amount of hostility from students at the University. Rove grew quite tempered at a group of students making comments during his speech, stating:
“You got a chance to ask your questions later and make your stupid statements, let me make mine.”
Two students even attempted to carry out a citizen’s arrest on Rove for the crimes he committed while working for the Bush Administration, however, the students were soon removed from the auditorium by local authorities.
When a student inquired if the University could have its money back, Rove kindly replied:
“No, you can’t”
