I know he’s out of the race, but I thought you all might like to know exactly how much of his own money Mitt Romney spent on his campaign. Well, of the $98 million he spent on his campaign, $42.3 million was his own money. That works out to roughly $150,000 of his own money spent on each delegate he won. Don’t feel too bad for Romney though, him and his wife have a net worth between $250 and $500 million, not including the blind trust in the name of their children that is valued at $100 million. I guess money really isn’t everything in our political system after all.
